It's hard to believe how time flies. My first born son Henry turned 9yrs old in a blink of an eye. It feels like it was just yesterday that I was holding my little  bundle of joy on my arms. Fast forward 9yrs and now he's  almost  as tall as mama. As every birthday that goes by I'm realizing that I'm not ready for my kids to get older. :( I don't  know if I'm the only "mama" that feels this way.

For my baby's birthday, my husband and I decided to gather Henry's cousins and treat the boys to an afternoon of bowling. This is one Henry's favorite things to do."Bowling" was the Party theme. I though that it would be cute and fun to see the boys with matching t-shirts, like a bowling  team. So, I downloaded the logo on the boys shirts from this great website called  Anders Ruff It's Really easy to download and print on to transfer paper. Also, thanks to good old Pinterest, I got an idea from dukes & duchesses blog on how to create The goody bags, the red stripes on the forks and Plates
The Banner with the animated bowling pin and bowling  ball was my idea, I bought the chuck banner at Walmart and Henry drew the animated figure (team work). Everything came together and turned out how I imagined for a last minute birthday party theme.

Way to go Henry !!! :)

Here he is with his"smiley face" cake.
I wanted a cake to match the Bowling Theme Party but I don't  know how to bake, " I need to learn ASAP " and it was to late to order a custom cake. So Papa bought this delicious White chocolate with White chocolate mousse Cake from "Landmark Bakery and cafĂ©" in Alexandria,VA. I used my imagination to make a "Bowling ball lollipop" and since Henry is always smiling i also added a "smiley face lollipop" that I bought  from Party City to personalize the cake.

  1. Happy to know about this bowling themed birthday party. Recently, took help of the internet and booked one of the excellent Los Angeles event venues. Arranged a candy buffet party and we had a wonderful party for this event.
